Quinta das Barradas is just a short distance from some
of Europe’s best golf resorts. Lagos alone boasts 8
resorts within a 5-25 minute drive from the Quinta. Golf
lovers, whatever ability will find the right course to
suit their needs.
We are happy to arrange your golfing itinery at the
following clubs: Boavista, Palmares, Penina Championship,
Penina Resort, Alto Club, Vale da Pinta, Quinta do
Gramacho, Parque da Floresta (no handicap necessary) and
the newest club Golf do Morgado.

delivered direct to your room. We guarantee availability,
variety and the quality of any equipment that you
specifically request. Play under the Portuguese sun with
the best makes and the most recent models such as PING,
TaylorMade, Ben Sayers and Callaway Golf.
You may choose from 1-2 days or weekly hire.

Horse Riding
At the Quinta das Barradas we can arrange a variety of
horse riding experiences at the Quinta do Paraíso Alto,
an English run riding school, situated just 6 km away.
They cater for all riding abilities and offer a variety
of riding experiences for adults and children alike.

Children Care & Babysitting
At Quinta das Barradas our involvement with the children plays a very important role. We aim to offer a creative child orientated program that is fun and that awakens the child’s imagination.
Chargeable babysitting service available mornings and afternoons.
Beach-Tennis
Enjoy playing this popular summer sport on our Quinta
for free. The rules are flexible and the main thing is
to keep the ball in the air. It is mostly played 1 to 1.
No stress, no competition – pure fun.
