Your wedding day is undoubtedly one of the most exciting and important days of your life and choosing a venue for your big day can be quite daunting.
The Quinta das Barradas nestled amongst 5 hectares of mature flora and fauna is the epitome of a bygone age of Portuguese heritage. Located just 6kms from the town of Lagos in the Algarve, it enjoys an enviable position at the head of the valley which is bordered by the Monchique Mountains and the meandering Ria de Alvor; providing the perfect location for intimate and relaxing weddings. There is no shortage of photo opportunities with the beautifully established gardens and grounds as a stunning backdrop for that special day.
We have dining facilities for up to 80 persons and our farm-style menu concept offers fantastic barbecues which are a Portuguese speciality called Churrasco, coupled with an array of delicious salads, fruits, regional and local cheeses and desserts from our Belgian Patissier. All this set in a relaxing country atmosphere accompanied by live music. Children can visit our very own petting farm complete with goats, pigs, ducks and other animals; we offer so much more than just a hotel or function room!
Accommodation for bridal parties can be arranged in one of our cosy and rustic country rooms which are equipped with satellite TV and telephones and come with individual terraces or balconies upon which to drink in the views and unwind in a peaceful environment.
